Cornyn bill would speed up testing of rape kits

A bi-partisan supported bill introduced by Republican Texas U-S Senator John Cornyn would allocate a hundred million dollars to speed up sexual assault investigations. Cornyn says the reauthorization of the Debbie Smith Act will bring justice and closure for victims.

The money would go in grants to local jurisdictions for testing rape kits.
