A man is dead following a late night crash near the University of Texas involving a Capital Metro bus.
According to the University of Texas Police Department, the man and his bicycle were lodged underneath the bus near the intersection of San Jacinto and 23rd Street. The crash happened at 10: 33 p.m.
Austin-Travis County EMS says he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man, who has not been identified as of Tuesday morning, was not reportedly affiliated with the University of Texas.
