Travis County District Attorney Margaret Moore comes out in favor of legalizing cannabis. Moore says she stopped prosecuting a lot of marijuana possession cases since the hemp bill went into effect and finds an appetite for legalization among law enforcement in her jurisdiction.
Moore spoke at a recent LBJ Future Forum in Austin decrying the lack of leadership on the state level on marijuana enforcement policy despite lawmakers saying they expect enforcement.
