Homicide investigators are looking into a South Austin hit and run after learning the 40-year-old victim and the woman driver knew each other. APD Officer Bino Cadeness said there were several witnesses at the scene, he also said a woman driving a red sedan intentionally struck and killed the 40-year-old victim.
Cadeness said the driver fled the scene immediately after the hit, but not before being recognized by witnesses. APD also got calls about possible gunshots from around the area of the scene
