Austin City Council order the City Manager to start looking for places to set up temporary campsites for the homeless.
Council has given City Manager Spencer Cronk until July 1 to show council where these designated camps could go, with an emphasis on using public land.
Cronk will also come back to Council with a a budget estimate for the campsites by June 1. One camp is planned for each council district.
