It was a big decade for the Texas economy. Economist Ray Perryman says Texas added more jobs than the next six states combined, and the decade ends with record low unemployment. Perryman adds that to continue this growth the state needs to do a better job investing in things like infrastructure and education. He says that will keep the economy growing for years to come.
