Texas’ Film Incentives program is under threat of getting cut alongside every other subsidy. Despite that, those in the film industry are hopeful Texas lawmakers will reinvigorate the program and even add more money into it. Central Texas actress GiGi Erneta says the program also could use some tweaking.
Erneta says the Film industry may need a longer-term program to encourage investment.
