Gas prices are down by four-cents statewide this week, but David Armbrister with AAA Texas says that relief may be just temporary. He says you can expect a rise in gas prices because of increasing demand leading up to the Independence Day holiday period. The statewide average is $2.68 a gallon. In Austin, the average is $2.65 a gallon.
