In the Georgetown school district, a committee has been formed that handles the issue of security and safety across all of it’s campuses. Three meetings have already been planned, the first of which is set in July. Board members say it’s imperative that they plan for the future because they want to make sure kids are safe and the community know they will always look for ways to get better.
The committee will consist of principals, police, and fire officials, as well as other administrators. The district says the decisions made in this committee will be shared with all parents and the public
