The City of Lakeway is still trying to find the best solution to cutting down on the number of speeders on Lakeway Drive. Police chief Todd Radford says he’s really not in favor of most of the traditional traffic calming devices, for example, speed humps.
Radford says he does like the idea of using digital speed limits signs with flashing lights to get drivers’ attention. Two of those signs have already been ordered and will likely be placed at both ends of Lakeway Drive.
