Austin Police end a Southwest Austin standoff peacefully. Officer Bino Cardenas says they were called to the 36 hundred block of Harpers Ferry for a man who had posted a call for help on social media. When officers got there Cardenas says the man opened fire with a shotgun. After a standoff SWAT threw tear-gas into the house. Cardenas says that’s when the man came out and SWAT officers arrested him without incident. No officers were injured.
