If you are a smoker you won’t be working at UHaul. Starting February first, UHaul will test all applicants for nicotine. Employment Attorney Vicki Wilmarth says Texas law allows for that. She says while some employers restrict nicotine use while someone is on the job, UHaul is taking the next step, policing nicotine use when employees are off the clock too.
