Austin Police are looking for a dark-colored four-door Cadillac that tried to run down several Austin Police officers who were trying to get the car to move. Police Chief Brian Manley says when officers approached the car at 5th and Neches the driver came after them in the car.
Manley says it’s not known yet if the car or anyone inside was hit by the gunshot. Police then pursued the car through southeast Austin but ended the pursuit when it became too dangerous. Manley says the whole thing was captured on several video cameras and they are studying the recording to track down the car and its driver and passengers.
