One year ago today Hurricane Harvey came ashore and devastated cities and towns, including Rockport. Mayor Pat Rios says they’ve come a long way in year rebuilding the town, but they have a long way to go. He says the biggest challenge now is getting affordable housing rebuilt so residents will continue to return from other Texas cities like Austin, where they are living now.
