Public transit for Lake Travis?

Austin traffic on a rainy day
County leaders aren’t ruling out public transit options for Lake Travis’ new low-income housing development:

Travis County Commissioner Gerald Daugherty is optimistic that Lake Travis may one day see some form of public transportation, but being that Lake Travis is not in Cap Metro’s service area, he thinks transit out there may require outside-the-box thinking.

In other words, kind of like Austin’s old Dillo circulator that is no longer in operation, or simply buying 5 or so 15-passenger vans, and run those as a circulator in place of larger vehicles.
