Funeral services are held for Richard Overton, who died last month at the age of 112 as the oldest veteran of World War Two. Volma Overton spoke for the family at the service. He says Mr. Overton was a blessing to his entire family, his entire community, the great State of Texas, to America and to the entire world.
Overton has been laid to rest at the Texas State Cemetary in east Austin.
