New rules are in effect for Round Rock pet owners, including a requirement that all domestic dogs and cats be microchipped. There are also new rules regarding the trapping of feral cats, as well as for backyard beekeeping. Mayor Craig Morgan says they’ll revisit the changes next year with the city’s animal control supervisor to gauge their impact.
