Seven People Sought in Connection to Park Vehicle Burglaries

The Austin Police Department has been investigating a series of vehicle burglaries within city parks, impacting both residents and visitors.

“We recognize the frustration and anxiety these incidents cause and remain committed to enhancing safety in our parks,” the department said in a statement.

In recent weeks, APD investigators have made a number of arrests in connection to the burglaries, but there are still multiple people with outstanding warrants who are being sought. The suspects have reportedly committed multiple crimes, including the use of stolen bank cards to make fraudulent charges on victims’ accounts.

Kishayla Taylor, 26, Wanted for Fraud – State Jail Felony

Destiny Thomas, 23, Wanted for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity – 3rd Degree Felony

Armynie White, 22, Wanted for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse – State Jail Felony

Deja Moore, 25, Wanted for Debit/Credit Card Abuse – State Jail Felony

Tyrrion Titus, 27, Wanted for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity – State Jail Felony and Probation Violation for the United States Marshal’s Service

Trayvon Swain, 26, Wanted for Probation Violation, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – 2nd Degree Felony

To minimize your risk of falling victim to a vehicle burglary, the Austin Police Department offered a few tips:

  • All park-goers should remain vigilant;
  • Secure any valuables in your trunk or refrain from leaving them in your vehicle if you plan to be away for an extended period of time;
  • Remain aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious activities.
