Christmas has come and gone but the holiday shopping season continues this week
Starting Wednesday (12/26), now that stores are open, people are returning gifts they don’t want. George Kelemen with the Texas Retailers Association says businesses love it because, while it means they have to give money back, it also give them a chance to make a sale while the customer is still there, and perhaps walk out with more goods in hand than before.
He says many people are taking this week off of work, so this is their last big push until Valentines Day in February.
