Texas’ Highest court rules in favor of Gov Abbott’s order to extend early voting

The Texas Supreme Court today has ruled against republicans who have been trying to overturn Governor Abbott’s order allowing six extra days for early voting. Some GOP leaders argue Abbott’s order violates state law. Abbott added the extra days as a safety precaution due to the pandemic.
