A man accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend’s brother in November of 2016 goes to trial today. Mitchell also faces aggravated assault charges.
26-year-old Jabari Mitchell allegedly posted sexually explicit photos of Trellin Reid’s sister. The Statesman reports that Reid and Mitchell agreed to meet for a fight at a store near I-35 and St. Johns. Reid showed up but never saw Mitchell, but was shot 25 times by a man behind a fence and fatally wounded.
