The FBI and Texas Rangers have joined the search for a missing Austin mom and her infant Child. Heidi Broussard, 33, and her 3-week old daughter Margot Carey have been missing since Thursday, December 12th. APD Detective Brad Herries explained they have very little to go on in the disappearance. “We don’t have a person of interest right now. We are exploring every avenue that we have and every possibility.” He said anything is possible right now, but added, they have no reason to believe the two are dead.
Detective Herries is hoping for tips that will help find Heidi Broussard and three-week-old Margot Carey, but he says don’t just post those tips online, call the police with them. “We are doing our best to keep up with the number of posts, the number of tips that are being posted online. But we ask that you contact us, the Austin police Department.”
Herries says they are trying to follow up on every lead and talk to anyone that may know where the mother and daughter have gone.

Austin police are asking for you help in finding a missing woman and her infant daughter. APD reports Heidi Broussard and her daughter Margot Carey were last seen dropping off a child at Cowan Elementry school yesterday morning.

Last seen dropping off a child at Cowan Elementary School (2817 Kentish Drive) on 12/12/2019 at approximately 7:30 AM. Heidi and Margot are believed to have returned to their residence near West William Cannon and South First Street, but have not been seen or heard from since. Please ccall 911 with any information about the whereabouts of Heidi Broussard or Margot Carey.
