Legalizing medical marijuana during the next session of the Texas Legislature is the goal of Veterans meeting at the State Capitol today.
21 year Army Vet David Bass has been prescribed a daily cocktail of psychotropic drugs and opioids to deal with the injuries he suffered. He says medical marijuana makes it possible to reduce that medication and cut the side effects that comes along with them. Bass is one of the organizers of the Veteran Conference.
