The Austin City Council is expected to vote today on a number of items aimed at tackling homelessness, including funds to expand the Esperanza community, Austin Water is asking the city for another $600 million to fund its Walnut Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant and rural Republicans are coming out against building new data centers as their constituents are concerned about the amount of resources the centers can take up.
