The next legislative session kicks off tomorrow at the Capitol and state lawmakers have public education funding top-of-mind. Austin State Rep. Donna Howard has her eye on extra revenue the comptroller revealed.
Howard said that money should go towards funding public education and give some relief to taxpayers who are shouldering a disproportionate amount of the funding burden.
