Monday 2/16:

On Friday, more than 100 students walked out of class at McNeil High School, and once again, things got a little out of hand. The Austin Police Department is investigating the deaths of two people who were found inside their home over the weekend, and an Austin councilmember says construction around the University of Texas campus will make it very hard for students to vote.

Tuesday 2/17:

As enrollment continues to plummet the Austin ISD is putting a focus on getting kids who left the district back into their classrooms, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has opened an investigation into firetruck manufacturers over alleged anti-competitive pricing and Hays County Judge Ruben Becerra is supporting new water restrictions on large-use developments such as data centers.

Wednesday 2/18: 

The San Marcos City Council has voted to outright reject a proposed $1.5 billion data center, the Austin ISD has announced significant process on a backlog of special education evaluations and that they’re no longer under the watchful eye of the TEA and early voting for the Texas primary is underway through February 27th.
