More anti-ICE protests are planned after the “No Kings Day” protests happened nationwide over the weekend, new results show Texas students are still behind when it comes to reading & math and the conflict between Israel & Iran is escalating as both countries hit each other with missile & drone attacks.

The Cap Metro Police in Austin have started patrols this week, protesters are demanding those being held at the J.J. Pickle Federal Building in Austin be released and the city of Georgetown is seeing the homeless population grow around the Georgetown square.

The new Capital Metro Police Department will already have to look for a new police chief, Travis County officials passes a resolution in support of humane treatment of illegal aliens in ICE custody and Rep. Lloyd Doggett is sounding the alarm on air traffic controller staffing at Austin’s airport.

Some Texas lawmakers want Tesla to delay the rollout of their self-driving taxis, one of the expansion projects at Austin’s airport has been completed and Austin’s District 8 Councilwoman Paige Ellis is trying to petition to be able to run for a third term.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is threatening to sue the city of Austin over a banking contract, Texas Governor Greg Abbott is hoping voters will approve $20 billion dollars for water infrastructure and a new report reveals the city of Austin had over 9.3 billion gallons of water leak from its pipes.
