A petition opposing the city of Austin’s new logo is gaining traction, a non-profit that provides medical aid to protesters is speaking out after being asked to leave the University of Texas’ campus and a preliminary report about the Leander ISD school bus that crashed with 46 students onboard.

Tuesday 9-9-25

Former Travis County District Attorney candidate Daniel Betts joins the show to announce his run for Congress, Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis held a sit-down with residents near the Edward Rendon Sr. Park to discuss violent crime in the area and AISD Superintendent Matias Segura announced a series of meetings for parents to discuss the districts consolidation plan.

The Austin City Council is looking at creating a new fund for low-income housing, immigration agents are in Austin this week conducting operations and Governor Greg Abbott will reportedly use an executive order to regulate THC products in Texas.

Updates on the investigation into the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, looking back on the tragedy of September 11, 2001 and an update from Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis on the manhunt that took place in the Zilker Park area.
