A man that helped Austin police takedown an armed man is speaking out about the experience, the ACLU is suing the state of Texas over its new law prohibiting DEI programs in public schools and hundreds of people marched through downtown Austin over the weekend to protest the Trump administration.

A lawsuit filed against the city of Austin because of misleading ballot language is expected to head to the Texas Supreme Court, a Capital Metro bus driver is being sued by the family of a man that was stabbed while riding on a Cap Metro bus and multiple business owners are pleading with Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick for help in regards to newly passed legislation that would withhold state licensing for cabins located in the 100-year floodplain.

The Sunrise Homeless Navigation Center may be moving locations to a building near Oltorf & I-35, the Austin Public Health Director is speaking out against federal funding cuts and a newly filed lawsuit is challenging Texas’ new law that bans lab-grown meat.
