Manor Police say they may have a Cop impersonator on their hands

Manor Police are investigating a woman’s claim that a person dressed as a police officer punched her in the face over the weekend.

The victim, Sheila Mason, told MPD she was driving west on 290 near the George Bush intersection when she was pulled over by a black and white car with a light bar. A man in full uniform said her tail light was broken, when she said her lights were fine, the man punched her in the face and told her to leave. Investigators say they’ve reviewed their records and say, if the incident did happen, they believe it was man impersonating an officer, the investigation continues.
