The Texas Department of Public Safety will begin operating certain drivers license offices on expanded hours next year. Starting January 4, office hours at the designated offices will be expanded to 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
Appointments for the new time slots are already being accepted.
The longer office hours are in response to a growing need for services that have arisen due to the pandemic closures this year.
