The Austin Police Department on Monday announced the arrest of five individuals that were arrested for either possession or delivery of crack cocaine which also tested positive for fentanyl. These arrests come from investigating the source of the illicit narcotics related to the recent overdoses.

Marcellus Barron, Black male, 30 years of age – Delivery of a Controlled Substance >1g<4g – 2nd Degree Felony
Ronnie Mims, Black male, 45 years of age – Possession of a Controlled Substance >1g<4g – 3rd Degree Felony
Two others were arrested last week.
