The Austin Police Association expects to meet with the City Manager this week.
APA President Ken Casasday says the City is at long last getting back with them about the contract. And while he is optimistic they could hammer out a full contract in a few weeks , he says there are still two big variables of success.
And just like the last contract, he adds Austin City council may shoot this one down as well.
