  • The Austin Resource Center for the Homeless is reducing the number of beds to focus on case management and long term housing.
  • The new model will help clients find housing upon leaving the shelter by partnering them with case management services.
  • The ARCH previously operated as an emergency shelter without providing long term assistance to clients.
  • The City of Austin narrowed the sidewalks and improved lighting near the shelter at 7th and Nueces.
